Recovery foods are just as important, if not more important, as pre-game meals. Your body, as an athlete, needs the proper nutritional value in order to recover and be ready for the next training session or game.
Here are a list of foods that will help your body recover in the long run:
- Walnuts, almonds, and other nuts
- Leafy greens
- Whole grains
- Soy beans
- Low-fat Dairy
